Tynáe Serene Bower (a.k.a.Tessa) is the 9th of Gary & Jan Bower's 12 children. Her first "assignment" in the Bower Family's Art Studios was as a 3-year-old model posing as the character "Tessa" in her parents' first book ​Tessa's Treasures in 1999.  In the story, little Tessa collected all kinds of fascinating things and lovingly treasured them in a box.  Nearly 20 years later, Tynáe (rhymes with Monet) beautifies and personalizes wooden boxes for others. She also creates beautiful handmade earrings.  She is constantly honing her skills in painting, woodburning, pottery, dancing, and an ever-expanding array of crafts that she finds fascinating and enjoyable.
