STRAWBERRY PICKING — Canvas Giclée (16x20 print
This painting depicts the contrast between immediate gratification and eventual rewards. One child picks as many berries as possible in hopes of enjoying a homemade strawberry pie, perhaps on some cold winter evening. The other child just can't resist the fresh, sweet juiciness now. Their goals (priorities) are obviously different, but both the now and the later have their place in life. This scene reminds me to find and appreciate that balance.
